Inositol
(Uses):  Helps to promote healthy hair and skin; Important for the cells of the bone marrow, eye tissue, and
intestines.

(Deficiency):  Deficiencies are uncommon.  Some problems have occurred with eczema, constipation, eye
problems, hair loss, and elevations of cholesterol.

(Food Sources):  brewer's yeast, cantaloupe, cabbage, citrus (except lemons), lima beans, liver, molasses, peanuts,
raisins, wheat germ, whole grains

(RDA):  No specific recommendation.  Not recommended to take a separate supplement.

(Assimilation):  B complex, vitamin C, choline
